1920 x 1200 (tif 144 KB) Download a file and save it as your desktop. You can then compare images that you open with a neutral grayscale. The grayscale will show up any monitor characteristics that are affecting the image. |

| Data Ranges: Dpx frame to check for range shifts between video (SMPTE), full range (CGR) and log (Cineon) | ||

Download the frame load it into your software and check the display. If you are calibrated to full range only CGR black will appear black. If you are viewing SMPTE video, there will be no difference between CGR and SMPTE black, but log black will still be gray. If you have a cineon print density LUT in place all three black levels should match. |

Download the frame load it into your software and apply a grade. This image has a graduated gray background, digital Macbeth chart and a grayscale, as well as a nice skin tone and plenty of color. If it looks good on this image theres probably nothing wrong with the grade... |
