Hello from Finalcolor,

As the world learns to live with Covid 19, we are all trying to get back to work as fast as safely possible. Our industry, like many others, has been significantly changed by the experience. The good news is that many of the initiatives put in place have worked so well that we will continue to benefit from them.

Live online classes have proven to be both effective and popular, so they will continue on a regular basis. While I do look forward to running classes around the world again sometime soon, the online solution is perfect for those locations that are expensive for students to get to, or for disparate groups that need the same class.

Less travel has given me more time to work on new tutorials, which I hope will help you keep upskilling at home for free. And the 3 Cool Things at the end of the last newsletter was a big hit - so there are three more at the end of this newsletter. Enjoy!

Upcoming classes - online, small group training

I am now running remote learning group classes every month, as well as offering private mentoring & one-on-one consultations. The group classes have an outline but will vary according to the participants and their questions - keep an eye on the upcoming classes here, or reach out and let me know if you are waiting for a particular class and I will run any with enough interest. These classes run over 3 days, which is enough time to make lasting friendships. Everyone brings something to the class and I love learning from your culture, experience and insights. These will be livestreamed interactive classes available in real time only. Classes run in a Zoom meeting environment with all participants online, visible, and able to share their screen. Each participant will have a short pre-flight check with me before the first class to test and configure settings.

If you need more information than you can find on the website or are unsure of whether a class is right for you, please get in touch. After teaching thousands of students at different levels over the years, I have a pretty good idea what will be worthwhile for your situation.
